St. John’s is part of the Episcopal Church in the United States. We are seen as the ‘middle way’ between the Protestant (Reformed) and Roman Catholic churches, holding together the best of both great Christian traditions.

For those from a Roman Catholic background
Our liturgical service will feel familiar. The priest wears vestments, the choir and acolytes wear robes, and we occasionally use incense and ring bells. Some people make the sign of the cross, and we sing parts of the service together.

For those from a Protestant (Reformed) tradition
You’ll recognize our readings from the Bible, our uplifting music, and our thought-provoking sermons/homilies.

For those with no previous religious background
You’ll find a relaxed atmosphere and a welcoming sense of community.
